Places of Commissioner Montalbano: Puntasecca, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla

Pick-up at hotel. Departure to discover the places made famous by the television series «The commissioner Montalbano», adaptation of the novels of Andrea Camilleri. We will visit the small fishing village of Punta Secca, which in the television series is the residence of the commissioner and the place of his long swimming. We will continue to Scicli, a charming little town with its sumptuous churches and magnificent baroque palaces, which in the TV series are the commissioner’s workplace. Free time for lunch not included. In the afternoon, we will discover the magnificent baroque script of Ragusa Ibla, a privileged place for Commissioner Montalbano’s walks. If you’ve seen at least one episode, now you’re part of the staging. Return to the hotel late in the afternoon.

 

The price includes:
- Pick-up and drop-off from your hotel or port of discharge.
- Private transportation with driver/tour leader: Car (1 to 3 pax); Minivan (4 to 7 pax); Minibus (8 to 19 pax); Bus (20 to 50 pax).
 
The price does not include:
- Meals, beverages and extras.
- Entrance fees to the archaeological sites, monuments, churches and museums.
- Local Tourist Guide to be paid locally (included for groups of 20 pax).
 
Important note :
The driver / tour leader, according to Italian law, is not a licensed guide, so he cannot accompany participants during the visit of the monuments; however he will provide essential information for the visit of the visited places (purchase of tickets, schedules opening and directions).
Only Tour Guides are the only professionals equipped with regional license, and can lead visitors to visit all sites and Sicilian museums.
